The year to year trends for Shopping Online change fast. Not so long ago the Playstation 3 was dominating the world of online shopping, adverts everywhere, articles, news bulletins, simple domination. Now that fad is over and the news is dwindling the Apple iPhone has taken over. And it is not only online either, the general media, radio, everywhere you go. It seems like the buzz is created by limited availability in other clever marketing by the manufacturers.
One of the hottest Shopping Online items right now are the Apple iPods. Even though they are available in retail stores they can be found for a lower price online. Many of them come with additional items such as wall chargers and cases instead of having to purchase them separately.
Due to this huge popularity of iPods and other mp3 players music Shopping Online has become increasingly popular too. Sales online are quickly catching up those made in traditional stores. Why go down to the mall and spend hours finding the cd you want when you can just go online and download the latest track you want instantly. There are even membership sites where you can download unlimited music for a monthly fee talk about convenience and value for money.
Less than 2 years ago when Nintendo first unveiled the Wii Games Console and with the amazing Wii remote controller, it was anybody’s guess what sort of success Nintendo would have. With a completely different approach to gaming to what anyone in the industry had ever seen before, there didn’t seem that much support for the machine at the time, specifically with more powerful consoles already on the way.
Since then the Wii Games Console has defied almost every gamer and so called experts expectations and continued sell, even though there was only limited launch titles available. Sales off the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 however have struggled to attract more than the standard early adopters thanks to their high prices. The Wii has benefited from the much lower $250 price tag and an interface that your grandma could use.
Things are getting much better for Nintendo, as in July 2007 it was announced that 3 million units have been sold in Japan, outselling the PS3 by three-to-one. Further news on the latest Wii sales can be found at Wii console .
The numbers don’t look like changing in 2007. In fact, with new games comings, such as Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Super Smash Bros, Nintendo will start pulling in many more Nintendo fans who didn’t buy at first. Combine that with the release of Wii Fit, destined to be the core of the mainstream media for the next year, and no one else has a chance. Xbox 360 and PS3 have great line-ups for the holiday period of 2007, but the Wii is going from strength to strength.

It seems a little strange, but one of the most critical components of our car, truck or SUV, namely it’s tires, go largely ignored by most drivers. Tires are inextricably interwoven with safety. Why is there this tendency to take them for granted?
We tend to think of tires like we think of electricity. Electric power is taken for granted. We never give it a second thought until it goes out. But when it does, all manner of inconvenience follows.
It’s the same with tires. We would just as soon ignore them. All is well until we get a flat or blowout. Then all sorts of disruptions are apt to follow. We miss an important meeting, cannot get to the gym or have to pass up lunch with a friend. Or worse, our tires were in such poor condition that they contributed to an accident. And the list goes on.
Fortunately, tire makers today are consistently improving tire performance and safety. Nevertheless, we, as car owners, have to cooperate. All things mechanical can only take so much wear and tear. Regardless of the superb quality and performance currently available, tires have their limits. It’s up to us to provide ongoing maintenance in the form of correct tire pressure, regular rotation, proper alignment and balancing. All that said, whether through calamity, neglect or ordinary wear and tear there inevitably comes a time when tire replacement is unavoidable. We dread the root canal and we dread the tire dealer.
