Don’t Know What I Would Do Without My Phone Case And Cell Case

Monday 30 June 2008 @ 11:26 pm

I do believe that my iPod came with an phone case. I don’t really remember that well or care since I never used it. Knowing me I most likely just discarded it when I threw the box away . I do really like my iPod though. I never have to buy an entire album again. There is no point to buying CD’s when I could just download them off line . I just listen to the same handful of songs over and over. I usually only like one or two songs from an artist so this works out really well so I don’t have to buy the entire album. They don’t make singles for all the songs I like so the iPod just lets me buy whatever songs I want and not waste any money on ones I don’t. The songs are only a dollar a piece so it isn’t like I will be spending a ton of money on a bunch of albums just for one song . My problem is the armband I’m supposed to attach to when I’m working out never does its job. The iPod is always falling off it once I’m running a mile on the treadmill. It’s sturdy and it’s in a holder so when it hits the ground there’s never any damage, but you never know, especially when you’re working out. I will have to take extra precautions in the .

Windscreen Wipers Noise And How To Avoid It

Monday 30 June 2008 @ 11:23 am

There’s nothing worse than squeaky Wiper Blades. How many times have you found yourself just continually flicking the single wipe switch, and that only when your visibility gets really bad? That’s extremely annoying and highly dangerous, but thankfully, you can take some simple actions to conquer the problem.

First of all, keep your whole windscreen clean. When you wash your car; don’t forget to lift the wiperblades off the windscreen and wash and rinse the area beneath them, even though this isn’t the bit you look through.
It’s important to keep the whole windscreen clean, because, when the screen is wet, the dirt particles become very mobile, and can get beneath the edge of the blade. This has several effects:-

Firstly, the particles between the screen and the blade cause uneven contact|friction between screen and blade. This causes the blade to vibrate, making noise. This problem is made worse if you have rubber Windscreen Wiper Blades, because they loose their flexibility with age and exposure to Ultra Violet Light, Ozone, many Screen Wash ingredients, and pollution. As the blade becomes stiffer it’s far more likely to jump and judder as it moves from clean to dirty glass.

Secondly, the dirt & grit particles abrade and cut the surface of the wiper blade right at the critical working edge. On rubber Wiper Blades this also increases the area for UV, Pollution, Ozone and solvents to attack the rubber, so accelerating the hardening process, which in turn makes the noise worse.

Thirdly, the dirt and grit particles settle on the non-working surfaces of the wiper blade. These particles harbour road grease & pollutants, which attack the rubber from the sides, causing more hardening and therefore more susceptibility to juddering and noise.
When the blade looses its flexibility and then is subjected to juddering, it tears at the mounting. As a result the rubber wears or tears at the critical mounting points, and the mounting points themselves become deformed and loose. This in turn leads to more judder, and so the cycle speeds up.

Flat Blade Wipers are much more resistant to this last problem, because they have a much more substantial fixing point between the blade and the Parts which hold it in place.

As usual, prevention is far better, easier and cheaper than a cure. A stitch in time really can save 9.

Careful cleaning of your Wiper Blades will markedly reduce the tendency to judder and make noise, and if you’re not lucky enough to have Silicone Wiper Blades, it will also markedly slow down the usual aging process of the rubber.

So, to sum up
To decrease and avoid the problem on existing Wiper Blades, keep them clean, and be prepared to replace them as soon as the rubber shows signs of hardening, porosity, cracking or tearing.

When you replace your Wiper Blades consider using Retrofit Flat Blade Wipers, because they hold the blade much more securely, so reducing the opportunity for vibration in the first place, and tearing in the second.

Better still, buy Silicone Wiper Blades. The silicone resin stays completely flexible throughout life, and provides smooth quiet operation for at least 3 times the life of even the best rubber Wiper Blades.

Best of all buy Silicone Flat Blade Wipers. They combine all the advantages of Silicone Wiper Blades with the looks & performance of Flat Blade Wipers.

Spy Camera Offers Many Options

Monday 30 June 2008 @ 11:20 am

Everyone has an endless choice of spy cams today. Whether you have to keep an eye on your employees or a burglar, the state-of-the-art equipment today makes it much simpler to achieve your goals.

If you’re a parent who wants to see how your nanny is doing with the kids, which is shown to be the most important reason for spy cameras, next only to cheating spouses, you need a nanny cam.

Spy cameras now come included in many different things, some so ingenious that you will won’t even know its there. This includes the classic teddy bear, books, baby wipes box, brick-a-bracs, piggy banks, and anything at all that you could place in a shelf. You can find DVD and VCR spy cameras, clock, fake cleaning products, light fixtures, picture frames, even smoke detectors, and other spy cam options to make your selection.

Another reason for the proliferation of spy cam options nowadays is the prevalence of cheating spouses. Such a wonder how a small camera now can be right in front of you, and you don’t even notice it. Such cameras can transmit either the audio or video, or sometimes both, to a personal computer or cell phone. And the spouse immediately has proof of the other’s unfaithfulness.

If you’re an employer, you can use spy cams depending on your needs, to see exactly what’s going on at the workplace. A spy cam installed in a clock can monitor what employees do at office hours when you’re not personally there.

As a homeowner who has to leave town for a period of time, you do not want to leave a hired babysitter or cleaning crew into to your house just like that. Spy cam choices let you safeguard both your children and valuables at home.

Often placed on the higher shelves to maximize the views of events, hidden spy cams can catch for you everything that happens in a room. Even the miniature camera options offer high resolution, and can transmit clear photographs to your PC, VCR, or cell phone.
