Choosing a Class

Maniac Class

Maniacs recover energy fast, allowing them to do the greatest number of jobs among the character classes. This is suitable for players who are going to be very active in the game. Although being a maniac will help one to level up faster than the other players, the benefits of the energy regeneration bonus would become less useful as the maniac increases in level.

Also, Zynga tends to favour this class, since players would have to use the application often in order to maximize a maniac’s benefits.

Mogul

Moguls generate money faster than the other classes, allowing them to grow their mafia faster and equip them with the best possible weapons, armour, and vehicles. It would also allow them to grow their properties and businesses faster due to quicker returns of investment.

This can be the ideal class for players who know they can grow their mafia up to 501 members fast. As you don’t have the benefit of regenerating energy as quickly as a Maniac, collect energy packs for later use. You’ll need them.

Fearless

If you choose to play Fearless class, you’ll be able to recover your health much faster than other players. While this is generally thought to be a useless attribute, there is one top mafia position that only a Fearless player can qualify for: the Wheelman.

If you can reach the status of Wheelman, you have the opportunity to perform jobs with no energy cost. This could be a massive bonus if you need to carry out jobs that require high energy.

A Fearless character can seem slow to level up at first, but has the potential to reap huge bonuses and benefits later in the game.

Managing your Mafia

When it comes to managing your mafia, remember not to take any more than you can handle comfortably. Don’t keep adding new mafia members if you can’t afford to arm them with great weapons or equipment.

Performing Jobs

If you are going after experience, choose those jobs with a high experience-to-energy ratio. On the other hand, if you are in need of cash, choose those that would yield the most money per energy.

When there are loot celebration bonuses such as the Labor Day Loot, try to perform jobs that require less energy to give you an increased chance of getting the loot items.

Attacking

Try to attack players who have a few less mafia than you have. This is almost a sure win for you and should yield a little extra cash. Avoid attacking higher level players and try not to attack players who have more mafia than you. If you find a good player to attack who yields more cash than other players, bookmark him so you can go back again when you need more money.

Moreover, bookmark those players who yield more cash, so you could always get back to them when you need more money.

Defending

The best defense against attacking mobs is to equip your mafia with the best weapons you can afford. While it’s fine to retaliate against players who have attacked you, be careful to stay off the ‘hit list’, or you’ll find you get attacked more frequently than you would like.

Always bank your money. You could find you lose money during fights if you don’t leave your money in the bank. Players who think you’re giving out great cash for them will keep coming back to see what else they can get out of you.
